Hi, I'm John

I grew up in a very loving family, which I can now see, really supported me in living my Essence. There was safety, stability and an atmosphere of love and curiosity.

An important part of my story is the birth or my brother.

I was 6 years old and said to myself that I would do everything to support this being to grow as freely and beautifully as he wanted - I basically started coaching when I was 6.

So there was this mixture of experiencing unconditional love from my mother, seeing my father as the personification of curiousity & learning and me taking the role of a personal development coach for my brother.

​

In my twenties, I started to travel the world and experienced many different perspectives and ways of living life. I studied robotics and medical engineering and could prove myself that I was capable of this intellectual work. Soon, however, I realized that I really prefered working with people. This took me to working as a strategy consultant for organizations. Here I learned about how the world of business & capitalism works. This culture was a strong impulse for me to shift gears again.

I wanted to work explicitly on transforming organizational culture and collaborate with leaders to shift this old paradigm. Then I spent some years working on cultural change and topics like emotional intelligence, self-leadership, nonviolent communication, new work, mindfulness, human-centricity, etc . I really enjoyed facilitating spaces, in which people could design their own culture that aligned with their values and visions.

However, I had this longing to go deeper and hold spaces in which people could really go deep into their own journey. As I have been obsessed with learning about personal development my whole life for myself, I wanted to open spaces for others to experience this as well.

​

After having spent several years in contexts of transformational retreats & trainings, learning many different approaches, I decided to alchemize all of it into my own program - Essence.

​

So what you see now is the distillate of my own journey and experiences.

In it's Essence I am just sharing the unconditional love I received, when growing up and supporting others in the role I took on, when I was six.

​

My hope is that you get to experience your immense potential and how easefully it can show itself in a field of unconditional love.
